May 10, 2012 - I wrote you a reply, but I think it got lost or something, sorry. Well anyway, The Bible weaves the Old and New Testaments together. They are the Old and New Covenants. God has reason for the things that He does. He was hard on the ppl from the Old Testament, because of the ppl had to be an example and He himself had to set and example by sacrifices and blood, rules, priests, etc., to prepare them for His sacrifice on the cross once and for all - for everyone, forever. He had a reason for it.

He knew you from the foundation of the world & the Heaven. He knitted you together in your mother's womb. He died for your sins, so that you could go to Heaven. He was the Lamb of God; Jesus. The Old Testament weaves with the New Testament. The Old Covenant as it is called has ordinances because God had to prepare the ppl for the New Covenant. The New Testament. :)
