May 17, 2012 - I can't speak for your side of the Atlantic, but my mum maintains that growing up in the 70s in England was crap. I remind her of all the amazing music that was around, and she liked a lot of good bands, but the radio was just, to quote Denim, "lots of little Osmonds", and the Bay City Rollers. Even then you had to look deeper to find the good stuff.
