Apr 18, 2011 - Writing a short story is never easy, how much more writing a novel. You're steps are quite helpful for beginners. I'm interested on the 'story questions'. This is one of the reasons why Harry Potter became famous since it makes readers curious. Each book has its secrets revealed. :)

Jun 8, 2011 - I totally agree that If you want to write a novel is not easy stuff which writers emphasize --Just only writing and write that the secret of writers being successful, I firmly believe. I think in writing the key is to how utilize the brainstorm ideas and jot it down well. That's what I personally experienced. If one able to do that effectively, he can become an excellent writer.

Jun 22, 2011 - After having purchased the Novel Writing Made Easy system, which has been outlined here in a 6 minute power-point presentation, I can assure those of you who are questioning the methods and/or the credentials of Andrea Rains Waggener, that this system works. My writing has improved tenfold simply by listening to the audios and doing the daily writing practices defined in the system. Truly, this is just the introduction. The task is not simple, but it helps to have a paint-by-numbers guide :)

Jul 5, 2011 - i think its a very nice outline of the structure of writingbut what it is missing is the passion that will give birth to the magic that writingcan sometimes offer :)

Jul 11, 2011 - This is really handy. It may not be for everyone, everyone has their own methods of writing, just like everyone has their own methods of learning, but in regarding script writing and acting, we used a lot of these techniques in class, and I've carried them over to my writing. Writing in scenes is a really great way to break writer's block.

Aug 29, 2011 - Writing Fiction. (Title of book). Based on a course presented in NYC, the Gotham Writers' Workshop. It held my hand all the way through writing my book which is now almost finished. Three earlier attempts with different stories stopped dead in their early tracks because I always had the feeling I didn't have the foggiest what I was doing. What was expected of me.'Writing fiction' tells all in a fantastic way. Many, many exercises. And you can reread it or parts of it again and again...

Oct 12, 2011 - Why is she fat in the first place? Own fault or lifestyle? Would her being fat devoid the existence of the story? Is there are market for Fat Women novels...or are they call romance? I don't know? Fat didn't "accidentally" happen.

Jan 25, 2012 - Good information here, but it's deceptively simplistic. It fails to acknowledge the sheer volume of information it's leaving out, giving (I think) a false impression about how much work it takes.Aside from that, it also NEEDS the three absolute rules of writing: you need to read a lot; you need to write a lot; take every other rule as a suggestion, not a law.Still, thumb-up for the good tips for greenhorns.

Mar 23, 2012 - If anyone is really into writing you might enjoy thoughtsforyou.webs.com. You can submit just random pieces of writing or poetry. It seems to be pretty new and unknown cause there are hardly any passages on there. But if you like writing, it would be cool if we could get it going. Please help me and go there!

May 19, 2012 - To start a novel and then to finish it takes an intense amount of discipline. Starting a novel to me is easy, it's finding the will power and motivationto continue even though you've lost the passion, or the story has gone cold. The feeling that you get after you finish your first novel is unbelievable.I found a great website that helps continue to motivate and inspire me when I do need story starters, or have writer's block; check it out creative - writing - help dot com
