Zippercdrr Says:
Feb 21, 2012 - Let alone any of these planes breaking the sound barrier
mikeyrobot500 Says:
Feb 21, 2012 - arent those from 320

Feb 22, 2012 - mach cones
F4SUNDOWNERS Says:
Feb 22, 2012 - b2's are subsonic.

Feb 23, 2012 - Smart ASS

Feb 24, 2012 - Youtube is for Videos dude.. Go get a Photobucket account!
TheVerandaguy Says:
Feb 25, 2012 - The smoke around the B2 is ordinary condensation, caused by high-pressure zones around the fuselage, themselves generated by high-G turns. Many commercial airlines get that on takeoff, and I'll be damned if I've taken off in an Embraer 175 at supersonic speeds.
717WHL Says:
Feb 25, 2012 - They are "slim" because they are stealthy! Now shut up and go do some research!
717WHL Says:
Feb 25, 2012 - No, only Mach 1.5 for B-1 at low altitude, where it is designed to operate
MCTheo3 Says:
Feb 26, 2012 - I don't mind seeing slideshows on youtube
Heyitsstu Says:
Feb 27, 2012 - This isn't breaking the 'sound barrier', these pictures are displaying Prandtl--Glauert singularity. The two speeds are similar but this is a common misconception.
TechGEEK170 Says:
Feb 27, 2012 - No no mate, you go and do the research... They are slim firstly so enemy radar is unable to pick locate and secondly to allow high speeds so it can travel up to 50.000 miles without refuel.

Feb 27, 2012 - 9GAG ARMY, ASSEMBLE!
Circleoffaterocks Says:
Feb 27, 2012 - Very cool!
cfb36 Says:
Feb 27, 2012 - i didn't see a single shock wave in any of those images
puggster Says:
Feb 29, 2012 - thats what happens when i fart! .....sonnic b000000m!!!!!!!!!!
XiKiilzziX Says:
Mar 2, 2012 - Piss off.
teeray12 Says:
Mar 4, 2012 - can you hear yourself talk if you're traveling super-sonic?
IDIOTTSUNAMI Says:
Mar 6, 2012 - If its called "SONIC BOOM" why not have some volume. Too many dumbass video like this. But you thought it was "cool" when you posted it. probably still do.
MrMudgeonCur Says:
Mar 6, 2012 - Yes. The sound inside the cockpit travels with you. I've been supersonic many times, and never heard any difference from within the cockpit. Can still hear all the noise from the cooling fans and airstream, plus my own breathing over the intercom. Radios work fine too.
MrMudgeonCur Says:
Mar 6, 2012 - You're partly right. We are seeing shock waves, but only where the flow is locally supersonic over the wings. The actual airspeed is less than Mach 1, because the shock waves would be at the front of the aircraft (bow wave) and back of the wings (oblique shock waves).
MrGeforcerFX Says:
Mar 12, 2012 - Prandtl--Glauert singularity, doesn't mean there breaking the sound barrier, just means there close to the barrier, or they have a high humid airspace with low pressure.
cwozildjian Says:
Mar 13, 2012 - yeah thats what I thought...

TechGEEK170 Says:
Feb 19, 2012 - Yeh they can, easy. Their top speed is classified but its kind of obvious their fast aint it...... look how slim they are!!!
