Jul 13, 2011 - This is one of the greatest little lost pop songs of all time. I think it reached #17 on the charts at the time, but it is better than 99% of all records that have ever come out. Peace.

Jan 29, 2012 - When I was in the Philippines in 1968-69, there were two or three versions of this song on jukeboxes in the bars, none of those versions by the Equals. In fact, I didn't know the Equals had done this song first until I returned to the States. I didn't know about the Equals' original version until then because none of the local Top 40 stations played the song when it was new.

Feb 4, 2012 - I first heard this one as a remake by Bonnie Raitt. It was on "Green Light" which was expected to be her breakthrough. That would have to wait 'til "Nick of Time" a few years later. Instead this and the Clash's remake of "Police on My Back" would get Eddy's career going again in the 80's.
