It's finally come to the PlayStation Network, and after several years in the cooker, Zack Zero has emerged a fairly pleasant surprise. The game follows the story of Zack Zero, a hero who sets off to rescue his damsel in distress. A lame story befitting such a lame character, but the strengths of Zack Zero are its beautiful vistas and its fun use of perspective. And its gameplay is...well, decent. This video review features video gameplay footage of Zack Zero for the PlayStation 3.

Feb 3, 2012 - Wow, you seem overly critical towards this beautiful little platformer.Especially considering you usually are not very critical even towards the seriously mediocre/bad old games.At the same time you also not really offer the reasons what makes this game bad in your opinion.In any case I much prefer the old style of reviews, this new one is more un-entertaining talk then it is fun and it shows far too little of the game.Particularly here you showed only some stuff from the very beginning.

Feb 6, 2012 - most of these platformers are samey to be honest. i liked sideways: new york but it was a little laggy and didn't hold my interest. outland was the most beautiful but i just can't gel with these like i did with the retro platformers.
