But most of his followers are negative people and they only attach themselves to his negativity. I think they are a bunch of scared kids who don't have money anyway. A sort of loser person who would rather blam society for their misfortune, than themselves. At least 9 out of 10 people who follow Peter only know gold/silver. They completely ignore foreign assets.

Fear can cause people to lose reason, and who knows what crutch people need to attach themselves to keep going. I don't see why you think america is that great anyway. You cannot blame the individual and expect them to agree with your thinking especially when they can do no wrong. Remember it is either the advertisers who say you must live beyond your means or the bankers who rob everybody. Oct 21, 2009 - You are probably 1 out of the 10 people who will buy foreign stocks then. Peter keeps recomending gold, and then hes say that the government will confiscate it in the future. It is a way to use fear, and a certain type of person will attach themselves to that message.  There is a possibilty that it will happen in the future, but at the present time the odds are minute at best.

Oct 25, 2009 - I dont know about America but in India, you can borrow money, buy real estate, get Loans from Banks by Mortgaging not currency but GOLD.In fact, Banks and other lenders consider Stocks, Investments, and treasury bills not worth more than Toilet paper. But anyone would be willing to give Cash or Currency in exchange for Gold at any time.

Nov 8, 2009 - Russia, despite it's problems, has a very large gold reserves and has a complete, vertically integrated heavy engineering machine tool and machine building industrial complexes. They got the gold to stabilize their rubles if they wanted to and they still have their original heavy industries which they wisely preserved while using western technologies to upgrade them by using their oil money and re-monetizing gold again like the Russian gold chervonets and manufacture their way out of any problem
