Jan 31, 2012 - Im not saying you need to dominate to get a 10-9, what im saying is Bisping's striking wasnt dominant and when you factor in Sonnen's takedowns aswel I can see why the judges sided with him. The only takedown Bisping scored was in round 3 with 20 secs left in the fight. Why should it be cancelled out? he was put somewhere he didnt want to be for x amount of time. Of course that should go against you weather you reverse it or not.

We don't want guys to get rewarded for having dominate position, we should reward guys for what they do on the ground. Chael got dominate position, Bisping got up and then he had dominate position and he did more damage in less amount of time.

Apparently the judges werent using your method either, perhaps the commision didnt get your memo? just coz you want something to change doesnt mean it will or that everyone agrees with you. I think control should be a determining factor. I like exciting fights but I also like cerebral ones too.
