May 18, 2012 - Only if its not fresh. The Japanese live near natural water sources and have bragging rights when it comes to fresh foods. I know I lived there.

indika suranga Says:

May 18, 2012 - Hi, have you considered this plan called the Fat Blast Lifestyle? (google it). My mate says it helps people lose weight. Is that possible?

imNotanExampleRdotDo Says:

May 19, 2012 - i went to a chinese/japanese buffet, and they have chopsticks and i ate with them, I got full when my second plate was half way through. now i will eat with chopsticks or attempt to learn more. by the way, they have people who prepare your food; you choose what you want to eat, they cook it. this is a great way to know what's going into your mouth.

xxxtoxicjelloxxx Says:

May 19, 2012 - i drink 2 soft drink (the small cans) a month. i mostly live on 4 gal's of milk per month and tea. :B

MmoSwag Says:

May 20, 2012 - well as of 2011 u.s.a is about 68% fat not 30

Chiorita1 Says:

May 20, 2012 - It's possible to make beautiful Japanese dinner without using any kind of oil. In the US, it seems impossible...There are traditional Japanese sweets. They made out of beans or rice. They are also totally fat free. I am Japanese living in the US, and I gained a lot of weight after I came here, then I started cook Japanese food only and I lost weight. :)

MANABUR Says:

May 21, 2012 - because you are japanese, Japanese food is testy for you ! How about pizza ! American pizza is very good and come to Philly or N.Y people in there are walking a lots !

AiChan150 Says:

May 21, 2012 - I agree with your last comment. Thats why I stated (Maybe in not busy cities) As for the pizza I can disagree but that's only because I do not enjoy pizza. It is much too oily. But that is my opinion and I do respect yours if you like pizza.

AiChan150 Says:

May 21, 2012 - How would you ever know what sushi tastes like? As far as Im concerned you probably went to Safeway, got the sushi lunches, and called it sushi. Yah well thats fake. Real sushi costs WAY more and tastes ten time better than oil soggy pizza, high calorie- too creamy "cake", and a bag of chips that had enough salt to kill a person. As far as I know, those types of food, which Americans feed on everyday, can kill a person faster than sushi.

AiChan150 Says:

May 21, 2012 - Hahaha Are you talking about Ramune? Yah it is hard but it does taste AMAZING! Lol not all sodas are like that, just ramune.

MANABUR Says:

May 21, 2012 - really !? Japanese pizza is so small and tiny I do not enjoy !!

TheRabidPosum Says:

May 21, 2012 - It's raw fish. Yes Americans eat more junk food than anywhere I would agree with that. That doesn't mean we should resort to eating raw fish with a stick to eat healthy. A dinner plate with a cooked salmon or tuna steak, a regular or sweet potatoe, and a veggie like asparagus, spinach, or broccoli sounds very healthy and tasty and American. Although we enjoy a pizza or a cheeseburger with fries now and then doesn't mean all of us eat like that every day.

angelcakebby24 Says:

May 22, 2012 - Asian people eat better because they took so long to develop. That is why they eat food off the ground.

Cindreia31 Says:

May 23, 2012 - That is because our country is so much bigger and everything is farther away. Many people have to drive more than an hour everyday to get to work which means they could need to walk 60 miles away.

TheMoo1231 Says:

May 24, 2012 - LMFAO

amarranazo Says:

May 25, 2012 - There's no doubt the typical Japanese diet is healthier than the typical American diet. However, when talking about life expectancy and obesity rates, one has to remember that the Japanese ethnic stock is almost 100% Japanese--no Africans, no Pacific Islanders, etc.Northeast Asians are much more lean and long-lived than the races mentioned above and somewhat more long-lived than Europeans, the formerly predominant ethnic stock in the USA.

micropr900 Says:

May 25, 2012 - Hihi, have you heard of this plan called the MegaMax Muscle Maker? (Google it). My uncle says it helps people get ripped fast.

JoeRingo118 Says:

May 26, 2012 - yeah. and two nukes devastating two cities, highering the chance of cancer by 50% (if not to mention other genetical disfigurments) has nothing to do with it right.. right? and the fact that its a heavly populated little country with tons of earthquakes and tsunamis + other disasters has nothing to do with that people over there dies. at least they don´t wanna die like the fat, hot-headed and armed americans does. they got a 3rd of the american population, but a 12th of the size of the country.

JoeRingo118 Says:

May 26, 2012 - yeah but in america people rather drive their tank-sized cars rather then go by train. and the hamburgers as big as an average japanese women doesn´t make it healthier.

alyertkid Says:

May 26, 2012 - raw fish is in fact very healthy, just because YOU dont like it doesn't mean OTHER PEOPLE cant eat it. BTW, salmon is fish. what I mean by the excuse for an argument was saying "no, you are". you can at least learn better insults.

Cindreia31 Says:

May 26, 2012 - What does riding the train have to do with weight loss and beyond that subways are mostly available in large cities. But yes our portion sizes are fucked up, notice I didn't disagree with AlChan150.

pretzelover Says:

May 26, 2012 - I died when I saw the picture at 5:50 lmao

JoeRingo118 Says:

May 27, 2012 - well... going by train is at least better for the enviroment.. so much pollution comes from USA that i am pretty sure that the sky is gray out of smoke. and smoke makes it harder to breath, and if its hard to breath, then you just say ''fuck it'' and drive the car instead of taking a bike. and people which are supposed to be athletic in usa (cops) are a big part of the fat population. and fat isn´t the only problem, being a anorexic skeleton is also very popular.

littlemissdimples88 Says:

May 27, 2012 - Honestly I understand why u think like that. I happened to eat it from young because my parents are sushi fans, so before i even thought about the fact it was raw, i had already realised it was delicious and caused no problems. I really think u should try sushi, it's yummy and healthy, and me and family and friends have never had problems with it

ArkStudioVids Says:

May 27, 2012 - IF fish wasnt so expencive here I would eat more of it. but it is SOoooo expencive. I think our bigest problem is availability. Fresh fruits and veggies are EXPENCIVE at least where I live they are. Your best bet is to visit farmers markets.. but for people who don't have cars to get to them or enough money to catch a taxi every week its a bit difficult for some of us..like my self. I would love to be able to eat like the Japanese. My budget though and the availability just isn't there.
