Mar 10, 2011 - I like my B Class but that strange engine arrangement makes it VERY expensive to perform repairs on. I had a starter fail and the replacement cost me over $1500 in parts and labour. The dealer has to practically drop the engine out to do any kind of repairs. Bad design decision in favour of extra safety. Be mindful of this if you plan on buying one.
