Apr 14, 2012 - in the 80's a few songs sucked while al other songs in the hitparades were great.Now it's a few songs that are great, while the rest sucks, and that's the major difference,and the reason that people say todays music sucks. Next thing is that 80's music is still played everywere, and wil be played far into the future, while todays music wil be forgotten as soon they left the charts. May 11, 2012 - Trust me my friend. Take it from someone who grew up in the 80's that things are different now. Was there lots of good and bad music in the eighties...hell yes. Was it just like today? In the way your putting it...it was. You have to remember that styles have changed too and if you like good pop music like this....it doesn't exist like it used to. The world of pop is mostly either done by hip hop artists or teeny boppers. There is still good music but I think the 80's exploded with good music.
