Mar 15, 2011 - School quality and the state of education in America. That's not at all the full story. The educational upbringing of a child isn't solely based upon schooling. Kids who go off on vacation every summer actually do better in school than kids who don't. Kids with a well rounded lifestyle do better. Students with positive influences outside of school do better in school. There's no solid correlation btw unions, teachers and student success without viewing all other factors.

There are many, many students attending PS that are going to college and universities. I'm one of them. My brother is one of them. Many of my friends in the Black community have done well, those who were not interested in obtaining an education did not. Blaming teachers for a history of bad policy on education is as insane as you are.

Apr 19, 2012 - Walmart is no longer run by Sam or his family, but run by a bunch of liberals who take advantage of their employees and pay them the least amount they can get away with. I worked for two years and got a .45 cent raise along with the raise in minimum wage. I started out making $7.45 an hour and ended up making $8.05 an hour. I think when Sam was alive things were different and so were policies and people did get fair pay. Some people retired millionaires because of policies that no longer exist.
