May 24, 2012 - This song is so sad. I know what its like to have a loved one over there fighting for our country. It really hurts when they don't come home. And I cannot believe anyone would have anything negative to say about this song or video!!!!

May 24, 2012 - anyone who tries t run the troops into the ground is retarded... i would like to see some of those people go and do what they do because none of its easy to do. it hard to leave your family and know that there is a chance that you could not come home.

May 25, 2012 - None of us who have not served can possibly understand what these Heroic people have been through so we could be free to make these comments. Thank YOU. I hope that those who would slander them would see that without them we might not live the lives we do.

May 26, 2012 - My Fiance wrote me a letter every day when I was done range in 1991. It was the thing that kept me motivated. I also understand exactly what the Vietnam Vet. means when he said mail call was like Christmas, and letters for you finally showed up. Sometimes, I believe she saved my life with those letters.
frdrahning Says:
May 26, 2012 - I served in the CORPS long before the age of the internet, and I can say Mail call was the high point of every day, a bit of home, I can't explain how it felt. Now I understand that you can video call, but that iddy biddy piece of paper is still cherished when it arrives. SEMPER FI to all brothers and sisters still out there, holding the line
