Aug 28, 2010 - ehm to lifting weights..if you do arm training(triceps)for example you dont really get to hit harder(als depends if you train hypertrophical oder you know sth like that...)but if you do arm training(just as example) and do martial art training too,your muscle will adapt,and you can hit faster and harder...(if you train right...)but just lifting weights or sth doesnt make you hit harder or sth

Sep 5, 2010 - sorry, but stronger triceps do make you hit(punch) harder. Biceps don't. Triceps are for extending the arm, biceps are for the opposite. That's why you should do knuckle pushups and build up the tri's, and doing bicep curls are bad. Ie antagonist vs protagonist.

Sep 5, 2010 - This is especially true for wing chun and straight line punches. Hooks/bolo punches etc are more upper body(shoulder/body core/legs etc) and not as much related to the triceps.
