Apr 11, 2012 - Why not? Simple, the giant corporations that rule this world would go out of business!!! Do you think they will let that happend? Over the earths dead body they will? A few man rule the earth and people let them? It's like religion, same thing people are so easy to manipulate . Bible has more say then nature and the one % is fucking us all so they can enjoy power and a life we will never have. We r but servants and that is all!!

Apr 11, 2012 - Whenever you can go farther than 300 miles in an electric car, then I'll buy one. Until then I don't want to be stuck on the highway waiting several hours for my batteries to charge from portable solar panels or any other convenient power source.

Apr 16, 2012 - If you drive a gas vehicle farther than it's max range, you'll get stranded too.

Apr 17, 2012 - I don't know why so many people knock electric cars. They aren't for everyone, but if, let's say 50% of U.S cars were electric, then demand would fall 50% and the 50% that drive regular cars would be paying 50% less (or more) for fuel. Electric cars have been around since the 1880's and pre-date gas cars. Gas cars overtook the electric car because gas was so cheap but we know this is no longer true.

Apr 20, 2012 - My Evo x gets 1.1mpg when floored, and shoots tons of smoke out of the exhaust when you get on it. Fuck the environment!
The1995generation Says:
Apr 21, 2012 - actually, its called power my friend. I dont care about mpg. if i drive easy, which i do everyday, i get an average of 22mpg, oh and im aware thats steam. it was a cold day my friend. Full throttle acceleration shoots black smoke out, much like a diesel. Do a world a favor and shove your foot in your mouth before trying to correct me. i actually plan on taking my cat off, to make even more power. Power > mpg/ environment. Have a nice day sir

Apr 21, 2012 - yeah, my computer, froze up, so i had to end the task lol, i had to re write it several times, each time correcting my incorrect grammatical errors
The1995generation Says:
Apr 21, 2012 - Actually, Mitsubishi tune the car to run rich from the factory, which causes the smoke (unburnt fuel). if you aware of the mechanics of a car that is equipped with a turbo, then you will know that the ecu is tuned different compared to N/A, and im aware of this. However, I should be correcting your language. Im only 16 and yet, i definitely sound more mature than you. Also, my GPA is @ a 3.9 out of a 4.0. Dumbfuck eh?
The1995generation Says:
Apr 21, 2012 - Oh aha it really is. In our house, we use our phones for internet use. So we have had the same computer for about 7 years.. Still running strong though :)

Apr 22, 2012 - My answers to this guy's questions. Technology has not advanced enough to accommodate the masseswho need to drive long distances, or if they need to take trips out of town, go camping, hiking, etc. I live in AZ and unless you live inside phoenix or Tucson, you'll have to drive. Public trans is pretty non-existent throughout AZ. What's the sense in having a car that's not versatile enough to be used. You also have to deal with public use mobile charging sources, which is severely limited.
gmmarin75 Says:
Apr 22, 2012 - I am not comfortable with buying a car with major limitations, to only transfer the use of fossil fuels. Gas for plug-in electric which has to come from a power plant. Some trade off. I will stay with gas until an electric is completely self sufficient and doesn't need to be plugged in. That means solar and self charging motor innovation, which is still lacking.

Apr 24, 2012 - Nissan LeafTesla Models S & XThese cars have ranges of 200-400 miles. Stop being retarded and get it into you head, without electric cars, Earth won't stay around much longer...

Apr 28, 2012 - i cant afford solar panels neither a conversion to electric
kidaok00 Says:
May 14, 2012 - Technology is capable of providing the masses with cars that run on electricity, there are cars like the tesla s model that has a 300 mile range, there are plans in the works to provide charging stations in California.... And solar power for your home is less expensive than traditional electricity.... O work for solar city, and we provide solar power to many homes and we are growing rapidly.

May 22, 2012 - I personally don't have much issue with the range of electric cars. My daily commute is about 15 miles. Yeah that's right we don't live in BFE and me and my wife don't share a car if we ever needed to make a long trip we could go on gas. My issue if the car design. I don't feel comfortable putting my daughter in the back seat of a leaf or Imiev and I will never buy another Mexican made pos from GM. Make electric versions of normal cars and I'll buy one.
gb6710 Says:
May 22, 2012 - So you like aesthetics then? I agree, most mass produced electric or hybrid cars are ugly as shit.

May 26, 2012 - Though they tried back in the Clinton administration with their BTU tax. Didn't pass but it did come close.A republican in my state put forth a bill to tax all properties with existing or future solar cell installations. It almost passed too.

Apr 8, 2012 - Great little video. I have built two electric car. One a 64 Ghia, the second a 77 MG Midget which now resides in Colorado. I own a Leaf and now have just over 11,000 trouble free miles and fully charged with solar. We have a 7.2kW solar array on our home and another 6kW system to be added. We are currently working on a 62 VW Roadster which will also be all electric. onegreenev.blogspot.comYou can check my youtube page for more videos and also google gottdi on youtube. Pete :)
