Title: Edwards Les Paul Special

Added: Dec 12, 2008

Description:
Here's my Edwards Les Paul Special from Japan. Lightweight Mahogany body, Seymour Duncan P90's, wraparound bridge, TV White, etc. I've since replaced the pickups with Jason Lollar P-90's which sound much better. I'm running it through my Line 6 Pod XT into an Ibanez Troubadour acoustic guitar amp which sounds surprisingly good with the pod.

Feb 19, 2009 - why not gibson?

Mar 12, 2009 - Ok so you got a few good notes there but it's pretty obvious you saw someone strum the guitar in a nonchalant way.. Believe me, it's not for you.

Mar 16, 2009 - Edwards guitars are the most under-rated guitar brand in Japan to date. They use bookmatched woods, nitro top coat finishes, Fender and Gibson-size fret wire, identical dimension-matching, and have Seymour Duncan pickups stock. They cost anywhere from $850 - $1,200 new. Edwards guitars are made as Gibsonand Fender replicas as well, but at a price most people can afford, and they are the real rivals of the Fender and Gibson guitar.

Jul 22, 2009 - An Edwards is much cheaper

Jul 23, 2009 - cuz this is a better guitar much cheaper and gives more for the price and not costs 250$ more for the name?amazing sound!!!

kuyuletul Says:

Aug 7, 2009 - so how do you raise the bridge?

kj053910 Says:

Aug 8, 2009 - Same as a Gibson, the bridge posts are threaded to allow them to be raised and lowered.

Sep 14, 2009 - What is the neck like?thanx

kj053910 Says:

Sep 14, 2009 - I'd say it's somewhere close to a 60's neck. Not super beefy, but not skinny.

frails8 Says:

Dec 2, 2009 - Hi. Great tone at the 4:59 mark. Did you sell this guitar? I just traded for the exact same one. This color is RARE. Is yours a 2006? thanks!

IHIKML Says:

Oct 30, 2010 - Just a little correction:-) Edwards aren't made as Gibson of today, except some CS models. The Edwards have long neck tenons, the standard Gibson line hasn't got LNT anymore. Soooo.... I would say, all in all, Edwards are better guitars when you consider LNT, nitro, SD pick ups and so on:-) Oh, and price!

van1980 Says:

Dec 12, 2010 - Agile as well.

ian6511 Says:

Jan 24, 2012 - How would you describe the neck. I have some people say this guitar has a very thin/narrow nut and then other people say it is pretty medium. Everything's relative, but how would you describe this against a typical Gibson neck?
