May 6, 2012 - you know, i've never played 4th edition before. Is it really as bad as everyone is saying?
senjaz Says:
May 7, 2012 - No it isn't. It actually fixes a load of problems that have plagued earlier editions. Problem for most people is that it is too different. Would probably have got better reviews if it were marketed as a separate game.
TheGreatCrow Says:
May 7, 2012 - I never understood why the Aasimar didn't make the players handbook alongside the teifling.....then again, it could have, I just didn't read the thing.

May 12, 2012 - When I saw that it had robots as a PC race, I passed.
Rasputin443556 Says:
May 13, 2012 - Yes. It's more of a tactical miniatures game rather than an RPG. Wizards even says that it is based on the encounter rather than the adventure. I felt like I was playing Runebound. I wouldn't have minded it as a tactical miniatures game if Wizards had left 3e to be the RPG. Aside from grappling rules (it's hard to write worse ones), 3e works better.
