Description:
Don't assume that you are Christian just because you understand theology, grew up in a Christian home or regularly attend church. What has your faith produced within you and through you? Jan 3, 2011 - It happened after the bible was written. I was told through a vision that he was dying and would soon be dead.

Mar 27, 2011 - @R1queno717 "i thought god was dead." "i was told through a vision that he was dying and would soon be dead." dead and soon be dead are not the same thing. so which is it? it seems like you don't even know what you believe.

May 10, 2011 - It's sad that I didn't see this a few months ago. I couldn't find the right words to say exactly this. I'm happy to hear these words.

Jan 17, 2012 - Who the fuck are you to judge other Christians?! You are going to hell for this!
IdaSputum Says:
Feb 17, 2012 - Why patronise people, as if they don't know they have no leaves and are humans. What are you trying to say
drumrnva Says:
Feb 18, 2012 - I'm saying that the Bible is full of metaphor, and believing it as fact is probably missing the point.
IdaSputum Says:
Feb 18, 2012 - 99% people know they're not born with actual oranges on them. You must think everyone is dense. But you are funny & i like you.
drumrnva Says:
Feb 18, 2012 - Maybe I'm not being clear enough. I'm saying that metaphor in the bible extends far beyond the fruit thing. I think the cross, the crucifixion, hell, angels, the talking snake, etc--I see it all as metaphorical.
IdaSputum Says:
Feb 18, 2012 - - Crucifixion was real. - hell is real. My empirical evidence tell me it's all real. But to pursue your line, just to see where your heads at for the hell of it, OK in your mind, what could hell be a metaphor for? Hell is like a hellish thing ? In other words it's hell.
drumrnva Says:
Feb 18, 2012 - If you believe hell's a real place, I'd be interested to hear your evidence. I think it's a metaphor for being separated from the universal values in life--things like honesty, willingness, charity, loving kindness, etc.
IdaSputum Says:
Feb 19, 2012 - Does advertising sell products? YES. Do the new-ish war game posters look like WW3? YesActing all naive doesnt change the subliminal and IN YER FACE programming that's going onSoldiers in planes over Iraq saw killing of entire schoolyards as "a HIT! NICE!" Human innocent children reduced to targets on a video screen, just like the games the soldiers played at home. SICK! You are deluded. Go watch American Greed / Idol
IdaSputum Says:
Feb 19, 2012 - weapons and drugs are the 2 BIGGEST economies of choice by the bank/govt satanists running the deathcult you live in! Search - AGENT ORANGE and see its effects still going on in Vietnam. Same planned for USA. No "metaphor" You are deluded.
IdaSputum Says:
Feb 19, 2012 - He explains what the metaphor IS! = DOING! Giving! Not just talking about it and ignoring people in the street thinking you can pay lip-service and it'll all be ok - as if Jesus ignored those in need. NO He didn't! Why do people say & think they are "walking.with Jesus" when they DONT. Because they are smug self-satisfied prigs
JobberBud Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - I never understood why theologians, etc. found some contradiction or complexity about James' text on works. If we believe we have been saved by grace, we should not lie back and wait for eternity, we should do something about it, "bear good fruit." James 2:15-17 reminds me of those who see sick or homeless people and think "I have faith God will heal them" but they don't feed them, clothe them, minister to them, as Jesus calls us to do. We have FAITH that God is real and uses us to do good.

Apr 20, 2012 - I love that last bit. Lord Jesus, help me to hold still while you prune away the unfruitful junk in my life. Amen.
DarioTheDisciple Says:
May 8, 2012 - I have come to learn that we are easily trapped in this because we all know that God requires fruit but the problem appears if we don't have it. The only thing a desperate soul can do then is just to run to Jesus unless of course they are struggling in hope. If God requires fruit and we don't have it we can easily fall into trying to make some on our own. That is something we should be praying daily to avoid.

Jan 3, 2011 - yeah, but I'm pretty sure he died again, and is gone for good.
