SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - Actually they do. There are many videos on YouTube showing it too.
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - You can see their intelligence and sentient being in their eyes.
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - They walk pretty damn well actually. Check out the dozens of vids here on YouTube.
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - "Cunning Linguist"
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - That's if they're lucky!
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - True, but because the mistake was so commonly made "octopi" is now acceptable and used in even many formal publications.
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - No, it could live a LOT longer!
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - ALL animals that aren't fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds or mammals are invertebrates.
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - It happens with divers. There's two vids here on YouTube alone that show it. Ask me if you want the link.
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - Five years if lucky or in captivity. Only 3 in the wild. And the female dies shortly after giving birth because she starves herself. They have three hearts too!
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - They can use jet propulsion to move like a torpedo if necessary to flee, but they use it sparingly because it tires them out. Usually they just swim or crawl on the bottom.
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - Because humans are selfish and don't care if something is intelligent or has feelings. They are sentient creatures and very kind and loving. The most intelligent non-mammals on Earth!
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - Sadly the octopus you are watching, "Caroline", has now died. : ( They replaced her with Octavius. She only lived 5 years. They are so smart and sentient but live such short lives. Even dogs live too short, yet animals like turtles and parrots live as long as humans. Not fair if you ask me. Who determines life span anyway? Should be based on intelligence and sentience.
eateroftheflame Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - Correct, but some hagfish are invertebrates too
585788 Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - yee buddy, you know what it iiiisss
sandechoir Says:
Apr 27, 2012 - wow so big sushi..
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 28, 2012 - That's not a nice thing to say about a lady (besides, I think you mant "scrotum" not "testicle").
SWLinPHX Says:
Apr 28, 2012 - Yeah, they like crabs and often use them to demonstrate how they eat. Poor crab; even its hard shell is no match for that razor sharp and powerful octopus beak.
onark9berserker Says:
May 2, 2012 - damn nature youre scary!
raz0rcarich99 Says:
May 10, 2012 - Nature is cool!

May 19, 2012 - fuckin squidward

badbeatbri3 Says:
Apr 3, 2012 - Yes, obviously they meant the width of the face of the coin. But notice that on an octopus of this size the eyes are at least 3 inches apart, and probably more. And notice that she states it can squeeze through anything it's beak can get through, with no mention at all of the cartilage between the eyes. Sorry, but she is misinformed.
