Mar 25, 2011 - @Wheeler2450Have you seen the One Ronnie? A christmas special where Ronnie barker isn't quite replaced by the very, very best in British Comedy but they give it a damn good try. Search for it on youtube if you've not, it's genius and they recycle this sketch and it's pretty funny seeing the guy from one foot in the grave in the sketch (love the guy but I forget the name) ... it's not the same but it's still good.

Mar 25, 2011 - @BushflareI did see it, yes. My family are avid viewers of BBC 1 on Christmas Day and the thought of seeing Ronnie Corbett on TV on Christmas Day really appealed to us. You're quite right, they weren't as good as the originals (no remake could EVER match those), but they were good. I could imagine Mr. Barker looking down on them, and quietly chuckling to himself.  A true comedic legend!!

Dec 19, 2011 - I agree with you, however I do feel that it is not always the case as I find intelligent humour such as this hilarious and also find something such as sneezing panda funny aswell but for completely different reasons. For that you shouldn't make the assumption that youtube viewers are generally idiots (the majority aren't even from the UK and so wouldn't understand this level of comedy).
