Feb 2, 2012 - congratulations! where would that happen to be?
SavingPrivateBob Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - Northern Ireland. I have heard stories of them being what you might call "oppressive" to the likes of my brother and his mates, but they deserved it.
theblueangel28 Says:
Feb 2, 2012 - HAHA!! no mercy :) ok well I am glad you have a more peaceful place to live...except when your brother gets up a craic (is that the right word?)
SavingPrivateBob Says:
Feb 3, 2012 - Well, drinking on the street all the time and causing trouble is going to lead to trouble every now and again. Yeah, that's the right word, but you used it in the wrong context lol ("what's the craic?" "any craic?" would be the equivalent to "what have you been up to?") haha

Feb 11, 2012 - @Audi0Phil You have to understand that Hitchcock pioneered so many stylistic aspects of suspense films, many of which are now standard, and which I guarantee you take for granted (i.e. Psycho is essentially a slasher film, long before such a term even existed), not to mention all the innovation he made with editing techniques and storytelling. All good filmmakers will cite Hitchcock as probably the most important thriller director of all time, and rightly so!!

May 3, 2012 - Hitchcock will always be remembered for effectively jump starting the slasher horror genre, Psycho was a masterpiece. If He is to be eternally remembered it will mostly be for that.

May 19, 2012 - Hitch!!! You gotta love those lugubrious tones in their description of fear and suspicion and of course he was the master of re creating these emotions on film. With the limitations of what they could actually show back then throughout Hitch's career as a director its amazing, not just that his methods were effective, but that they still are and indeed films in the genre of vertigo and North by Northwest are classics that are still masterpieces. There was no one like Hitch!
