May 23, 2011 - I must disagree---that is a Teisco del Rey bass. Perhaps they were marketed under the Baldwin name but I owned one and it had the Teisco logo.

Aug 20, 2011 - Rest assured, on the original recordings the basses were upright basses......The players were either Bob Moore, Junior Huskey or Henry Strelecki.......The record producers DID NOT use road musicians on sessions........I was very lucky to be able to play on Jones' sessions on either fiddle or rhythm guitar..........On all Jones' sessions were Pig Robbins, Piano, Bob Moore, Bass, Buddy Harmon, Drums and either Hal Rugg or Sonny Curtis on Steel..........Charlie Justice

Nov 29, 2011 - Glen Davis is playing the drums on this clip as well - he later became staff drummer for the Grand Ole Opry (1970s-1990s). Love his version of this song the best

Dec 1, 2011 - Paycheck (Lytle) singing young and hungry doing a Hank Cochran song like no other. You want real music, get his cd " The Little Darlin' Years," Lloyd Greene played the steel on the studio version, and wow, it certainly is a Hall of Fame Classic!
