Mar 11, 2012 - Thank you, for the recipe, Manjula!I used whole wheat flour/atta and it worked very well. I also tried it with maida, but I prefer it with atta. For the filling I also added some shredded raisins, which gave it a bit sweet taste. Thank you for the precise instructions! You are great!

Mar 22, 2012 - With due respect Ms. Manjila, isn't it true that we are not supposed to use steel/aluminium spoon in non-stick pan? should not you use wooden or plastic spoon ?

Mar 25, 2012 - AMAZING! Thank you so very much for posting. I live in LA and a town near my home (Artesia) has streets of spice shops for Indian food. I've tried a few things on my own but now, I can go into the spice shops with confidence knowing what to purchase and how to make these lovely dishes.
