Mar 6, 2012 - From what I gather on the net as of right now, Lady Gaga broken Pat Benatar and Mandona past sells or records in less than five years. Even tho, I don't care for Lady Gaga and I consider her a bad mess up Mandona, those numbers in sales change all the time. Nothing is ever written in stone, just enjoy the music instead.

Mar 6, 2012 - Madonna has outsold Benatar in a big, big way -- but she's not considered a "rock artist." I'm sure Gaga (and Adele) have also sold a lot of records, but there's simply no way either one has outsold Madonna, who's topped the international charts consistently for 30 years. You can find the sales stats on Wikipedia -- The Beatles, Elvis and Madonna are still the tops.
