May 26, 2012 - First off Batio is by far a better "TECHNICAL" guitar player than slash no doubt, but he totally fails with gimmick guitars and overkill. Hence, why most have no clue who he is in the first place. Second, slash sells more because most peeps just wanna here a good song without the overkill and gimmicks. It all comes down to what u prefer... blues solos with slash or hammer ons and pull offs with batio. The choice is yours. Why compare these two overated turds anyway? Theres far better out there!

He isn't innovating or doing much that hasn't already been done before. He is just a tool that is being marketed to the kids that weren't around in those times.
