Jan 12, 2012 - @lilkusify I actually disagree, I've seen both Ip Man movies (1 & 2) and while they're impressive you don't feel quite as emotionally intense nor as connected with the character. The magic of this film is that the main character is first viewed as a rather overall obnoxious jackass then once X things happen to him you start to sympathies with this character which you disliked. Jet Li's character is far more relate-able and the same goes for the lessons taught by this film.

Jan 12, 2012 - @lilkusify i disagree idk if ip man is based on a TRUE story but this movie is. ip man might b more actiony or w/e but but fealess is about huo yuanjia who was a real person who faught for his people just about all the aspects in this film are based off of huo tuanjia's actual life story.
