Apr 26, 2012 - Btw Josh and John were in a same band in 2004, the Anaxia!!!So if that is where Chillies got Josh then it is very possible that John SUGGESTED Josh as a new Chillies guitarist...John wouldn't choose a bad guitarist cmon ...In honour of John, stop hating Josh, he has a different style but GOOD STYLE!!

Apr 29, 2012 - Jimmy Page started as a session player just saying

CalumHarrison Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - he might do if you give him a chance

meggiemowse Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - I just love the peace that this song transmites.

Watzitoya Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - Anthony sounds fucking awesome and the whole band overall is playing incredibly well, and yeah there isn't going to be anyone like John, but Josh is still doing a good job and you have to respect John's decision of being independent. Long live the Peppers <3

HerlequinStandard Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - I'm not sure why people are so critical of Josh. He was Frusciante's protege for years. He also toured withe the Peppers as a backing guitarist. If anyone can do it, it's him.

easy8flowing Says:

May 1, 2012 - Im in a band called The Bakers and we've just recently started together, but I believe we have the potential to write great songs. We have recorded just a handful of tunes and you can listen to our latest by typing 'Sister Insane' in the search bar. There's no harm in giving a couple minutes of your youtube surf. enjoy

mocowacoargh Says:

May 4, 2012 - This song is a reflection of frusciante's soul...this kid could never play it, or any other's of johns, as intended. no matter the magnitude of this kid's gift/ability, there is always going to be a john frusciante shaped void in their music.

crazbird Says:

May 5, 2012 - Actually it's a reflection of Anthony's soul... John will forever be remembered but let's not let our love for the man ruin who was rightfully chosen to take his spot. Sure it's not the same as before but it's not completely different, there is a reason why Josh is playing with them. I love John but I also admire the fact that Josh is trying to fill in those shoes that John left and if people would just stop with their side choosing and just listen to the music that'd be f***ing fantastic.

Victor Hidalgo Says:

May 5, 2012 - The band is not the same without John. I can't feel the same musical energy that John produced when he was in the band. It's like taking away apart of the bands soul. They all came together has one, and has a connection, you can't just take that away. Hopefully it won't go down the same when Dave joined the band. John come back!

cilasroxx Says:

May 6, 2012 - i'm in the middle of that my son! ^^

Dean Falconer Says:

May 6, 2012 - tbh josh could be the next john but it will take a good few years

AsslegAnnie Says:

May 13, 2012 - hot damn Josh turn ur guitar up, i think you got a lot of talent, i wanna hear

fender29111992 Says:

May 13, 2012 - nice story..but that has nothing to do with their musical skills!

LucasHormann Says:

May 13, 2012 - This song is a poem, wrote by Anthony Kieds. The guitar part is a mix of Hendrix and a rip off of a song called "Rip Off", from T-Rex (John Frusciante aways told that). It can be performed by any good guitarists... John does the best version, but come on, don't blame on Josh ¬¬

nathand612 Says:

May 16, 2012 - But it's entirely relevant... All anyone ever complains about now is that John is gone.. But if you take the good with the bad then you don't come off too bad... Yes, we lost John. But he's gonna be making some KICK ASS solo material for us to look forward to! And we have Josh. And no matter how upset you are with losing John we can all agree that we could certainly have ended up with a worse guitarist than John! :)

nuke97 Says:

May 17, 2012 - Josh is an excellent musician. Regardless of the Peppers latest album we have yet to really see what Josh is really going to start coming up with !

GBeret83 Says:

May 18, 2012 - This kid's an o.k. guitarist. But he's no John Frusciante for sure. Frusciante's an incredible guitarist/singer/songwriter. Chili Peppers sorely missing his axe in the band these days, IMO.

Luukeeeehh Says:

May 20, 2012 - listen to the intro...and you know how hard that riff is..

IvanFrusciante Says:

May 23, 2012 - josh have much for learn :)

NickODU2015 Says:

May 26, 2012 - I'm not going to say Josh Klinghoffer is better or worse than John Frusciante, they are two different guitar players. However, I will say that if there's one guitar player I'm comfortable with playing old school Frusciante songs, it's definitely him. He plays with good heart and really gives it his all.
