Jan 10, 2012 - Hi Teresa,Thanks for a great instructional video! Love the design and am thrilled I am able to do this. Question: how can I prevent each row from increasing? It seems my borders are not staying straight on the side in which a new color of yarn is added. Help!!!

Jan 10, 2012 - Teresa, I am a "newbie" when it comes to crochet and your videos are by far (that I have found so far) lol a real time step

Jan 14, 2012 - I'm a beginner to crocheting ..I usally use the granny sticand basic pattern you are using. I'd like to know if the star stitch is difficult and if you give directions...I would like to make one for my new grand-baby coming!

Jan 17, 2012 - If you worked the chain to tight in the beginning, your edges may expand. If you are talking about the knots, you may want to consider working an edging to cover the imperfections.
tjw1963 Says:
Jan 17, 2012 - Your work should not be increasing. Is your foundation chain to tight?

Jan 21, 2012 - THANK YOU SO MUCH TERESA,!! i just made my first baby blanket for my cousin, and i used your pattern i posted a video response... I love your videos,,, xoxo

Jan 30, 2012 - will it ruin your blanket if you have only 2 double crochets in the begining chain?
tjw1963 Says:
Jan 30, 2012 - As long as your stitch count remains consistent, it should work.

Feb 28, 2012 - How many chains should I start off with if I want to make an adult sized afghan?
tjw1963 Says:
Feb 28, 2012 - This is only an estimate but I would suggest around 225-280 chains
LoveAhiru Says:
Feb 29, 2012 - um sorry to ask but the first to DC you make you say after that "chain one, skip a chain" but you dont skip one chain. Am I just seeing wrong?

Mar 14, 2012 - Y the hell do they have such long nails I wanna brake they're hands

Mar 22, 2012 - Excellent work!!! Love the pattern. What yarn are you using in this tutorial? It runs so smoothly and I'm trying it out with Red Heart but the 3-ply is tearing apart. Thanks for your time!!!
tjw1963 Says:
Mar 22, 2012 - I am using 4 ply. If your yarn is tearing apart, it is possible your hook is to large for the smaller yarn.
Angela Guillory Says:
Apr 17, 2012 - Question for you ... I have multi-colored yarn that is beautiful, would I have to switch yarn for this pattern? Or can I just use the yarn I have for the whole pattern?
AbaoQwj Says:
Apr 25, 2012 - How do you do crochet it so striaght. When i crochet, it starts out small to big, and big to small.
DoomsDayAngel Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - Wow thats beautiful.
tjw1963 Says:
Apr 30, 2012 - Thank you.
tjw1963 Says:
Apr 30, 2012 - You practice until you get a consistent tension.
tjw1963 Says:
Apr 30, 2012 - You can make it one color but the design will not look like it does with the color changes.
catzpaw3 Says:
May 5, 2012 - This is beautiful and I plan to make it for my niece's new baby. I would like to know if there is a nice border that can be used for this pattern, please and thank you
tjw1963 Says:
May 5, 2012 - I would suggest the reverse single crochet or you can carry the actual pattern around the blanket and use it as a border.
audiomug Says:
May 27, 2012 - Thank you for sharing this technique. I think it will work perfectly for this white afghan I'm crocheting with single secondary color blocks in it.

Jan 9, 2012 - Hi Teresa,Great tutorial. I've been wanting to use this stitch. I'm making a ROUND potholder. Can I use this stitch? Where should I increase the stitch - on ch1 or 3dc? Thanks a lot in advance.....
