May 7, 2012 - Pretty different vocalists. What they share is how much they sizzle and growl.One thing I do believe is that while Ann was able to still sing her tunes 20/30 yrs later, and even now with maybe a slight loss of edge (but not much) I doubt JAnis would have been able to continue to sing as she did in late in 60s. Maybe I am wrong, we'll never know. But the booze and drugs that killed would have gretly effected her ability to perform had she lived. My feelings on it.
