Feb 17, 2012 - Actually, its pretty certain Jesus was born in the spring as determined by the given position of the stars and the events around the time of his birth. The end of December was selected by the church much later on because it was the time of a pagan festival they could not completely stomp out, so they assigned it a Christian meaning to make it easier to simply turn a blind eye to it.And I believe in Jesus and I love celebrating Christmas as his birthday.
