Title: Andrew Klavan: Obama's Beach Blanket Recovery: It's Happy, Snappy & Incredibly Crappy.
Added: Jul 15, 2010
Author: Pajamasmedia
Duration: 4:30
Description:
Kick back with Andrew Klavan and enjoy the roaring, soaring, constitution ignoring days of Obama's Recovery Summer. It's sunny. It's funny. But I'm out of work honey. With unemployment over 9%, what isn't there to love? At least it isn't the grim old days of George W. Bush when unemployment was below 6% and General Petraeus was leading a surge. http://www.PJTV.com.

Mar 24, 2012 - Well, that's obviously an exception else the USA would be in the lead, eh? And if you were in poverty, you couldn't afford it.But name the field; name the doctors. I think you're lying.
VadulTharys Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - actually it is not an exception, it is very common. Where I can post hundreds if not thousands of cases where patients in Europe would have lived had they been in the US with the same income. The reports on medical care are skewed to encourage a socialist agenda. The standards for rating the care are all based solely on items a socialist medical system will outdo the US. It is political based "facts". If you look at the issues that actually matter the US will be ranked in the top 3.
VadulTharys Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - Renal Nephrology, my daughter had non functional kidneys at birth. She was transferred from our local hospital to the NIH in Washington DC. My cheap health insurance paid for everything. Yes I had to live in the Ronald McDonald house, and yes my wife and I had to scrimp and save just to eat but our daughter had the best care, the 5.5 million dollar bill was covered and I paid $5000 each year.
GotmyplaceinHell Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - Name the doctors. (And this is excluding that it's obviously an exception, or the USA would be in the lead)
VadulTharys Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - You know what I am so tired of your crap, I have proven that our system is superior, I refuse to name the Doctors for two reasons, NOTHING I say will get through your thick skull. The second reason is you will go out of your way to find some way to slander those fine doctors. Your intense bigotry to anything that contradicts your world view precludes me from continuing a discussion with someone so intensely blind to the facts.
GotmyplaceinHell Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - No you haven't, you gave one example, I provided you with statistics from the WHO. I could also give you countless examples of Americans who cannot afford healthcare dying as a result.I wanted the names of the doctors to see if you were telling the truth or not, not because I was going to randomly start insulting doctors I don't know much about. And I hope you know you can go private in the UK if you so want, there's just a safety net for the vast majority that can't afford that.
GotmyplaceinHell Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - You're writing far too much to respond to, so I apologise if I cannot see at all. And you just accused me of ignoring facts.1) The crime statistics I provided you are as a percent, meaning you have four times more percent people dying of murder.2) Where are you getting those statistics from? Because everything I've found suggests that America is worse in all areas.3) You just accused me of ignoring the facts, then denounced all facts contrary to your opinion as 'skewed'
VadulTharys Says:
Mar 27, 2012 - The WHO hmm you do realize the WHO is a biased organization that supports the destruction of Israel and has falsely reported health conditions in the US and other countries for the last 30 years? The facts I gave you were from BBC, a credible reporting source. If you look at studies conducted by non biased universities in North America and Europe the numbers contradict the WHO reports on both the level of care in the US and any comparisons to Europe.
VadulTharys Says:
Mar 27, 2012 - I would also like to point out that in the US no hospital can refuse care to any person even if they cannot pay. Even people with terminal diseases are cared for, without waiting periods. In the US health insurance is actually quite affordable even people at the lower income range are capable of getting fantastic coverage. All companies in the US that employ more than 10 people are required to provide insurance as well. So the facts contradict the reports used by liberal media.
VadulTharys Says:
Mar 27, 2012 - The real issue with health care and health care costs in the US is three fold, 1: Tort Reform to reduce the liability costs to doctors. 2: illegal immigration and its burden on hospitals 3: excessive governmental intrusion and cost structuring that eliminate the free market ideals that kept costs low until the 1980s.
GotmyplaceinHell Says:
Mar 27, 2012 - Checked the BBC, you're completely lying. End of.
VadulTharys Says:
Mar 27, 2012 - Sorry I also used nationmaster com as well as BBC statistics. I am sorry you are to incompetent to find them
SonjaSmith Says:
Apr 1, 2012 - The Iraq war WAS Folly. Stop defending the crazy Bush policies. They are all shit heels, Republicans, Democrats, all work towards the same anti-American policies year after year, each one spending us into oblivion one way or another with no address to growing government beyond any reasonable limit with less and less freedom. It's only the truly insane that believe one party is Good and the other is all BAD. It's the reason we never get anywhere, but continually SCREWED.
WolfestoneManor Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - This is how you argue like a liberal. Insult those who disagree while challenging their morality, intelligence, and questioning their loyalty to American principles. Please refer to Bill Whittle or the late Andrew Breitbart for actual facts.
SonjaSmith Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - And you always know a Republican because if you disagree with them they assume you are a liberal. You didnt even read or take a moment to think about what I wrote, really ,that sounds liberal to you?, than you deserve to be called an ass.
DBoy2029 Says:
Apr 13, 2012 - What good satire here. When you pretended to love what O-Bummer did, you should've included the "Sarcasm" sign from Big Bang Theory.
WolfestoneManor Says:
Apr 24, 2012 - Actually I probably am an ass, at least I'm right.
Leobons Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - this MORON really thinks the Patriot Act doesn't violate anybody's rights?
GoblinKnightLeo Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - Have you read it? What specific provisions violate someone's rights?
GoblinKnightLeo Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - Whose rights specifically were violated in the period? The only people I'm aware of who were arrested under the Patriot Act were held for a week before being released with apologies.
Leobons Says:
May 4, 2012 - what about innocents having their homes searched without a warrant or having their medical and banking records violated or having their phones wiretapped? There's been thousands of these cases violations of people's rights and it shouldn't happen in America.. don't come up with the "post 9/11 world" story.. if you don't like the Constitution, go out to 9/11stan.
GoblinKnightLeo Says:
May 4, 2012 - Actually, my question is "Has this actually happened? Or is this a media narrative that we are supposed to swallow?"We are told thousands, but no names of people are actually ever mentioned by anyone. The only names I've ever found were those people who were held for a week.Secondly, my concern is this: 4th Amendment concerns what can be used as evidence against you. If they search your records without a warrant, it would only be 4th Amend. issue if they tried to arrest you on that basis.
GoblinKnightLeo Says:
May 4, 2012 - Note that this is very different from supposing that government can be trusted with this power; it can't. FDR used this power against political rivals, having the FBI investigate people's personal lives for blackmail material (Truman wrote about his outrage at finding out about this upon taking the Presidency in his journal). My question is, what exactly does the bill say? Because the Bush-hate media frenzy at the time was long on rhetoric and amazingly short on detail and fact.
Leobons Says:
May 16, 2012 - I don't see much difference between Bush and Obama on civil liberties, war or domestic spending so I hate them both. There's been a lot of good, very specific stuff on the Patriot Act in the media and it's a horrible piece of legislation that permits searches without probable cause, federal agents to write their own warrants (?!), wiretapping of regular citizens, seizing of records.. There are good fact checks on Politifact, also Ben Swann's reality check

VadulTharys Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - what are the odds in Europe of a low income family being able to see doctor ranked number 1 in the world for their field. My daughter had the top 5 doctors in that field working on her. These are the men who pioneered the treatment for her condition, the ones who every medical student now studies. I was in poverty, and I was able to have them work on my daughter. Why because I paid for my own medical insurance. Now I can prove that even in life threatening conditions in the UK you have to wait.
