Before bass boats, side finding sonar and when you ate everything you caught.Fishing wasn't a sport then, it was a way to feed a family. Brings back memories of fishing huts in the swamp and skiffs made of cypress boards. Thanks for that !

It seems to me like most everything else in bass fishing it will work for a while but once they catch on you have to move on. I used to catch tons of bass on lizards but then they got to be all the rage,now I find I am getting more strikes on curly tail worms. I am looking at going really old school on my next trip with some snagless sallys with a pork rind trailer
