And the concepts were not thoroughly explained. A triplet is three notes played in the time of 1 note. The first three notes were played as a triplet(within the time of a quarter note). And the last note was played at the start of beat 2. So it goes; 1(slap, hammer, slap) 2(pluck, 1/8rest) 3(slap, hammer, slap) 4(pluck, 1/8rest).
