Mar 15, 2012 - im 14 and looking forward to my retirement
rahaworth1 Says:
Mar 16, 2012 - Congrats on being 14. I am sure you know that you don't have to wait until you retire to make a great layout. But you time does free up some when you don't have to work anymore.

Mar 16, 2012 - Thanks very much.

Mar 16, 2012 - @rahaworth1i was planning on making a layout in the basement of our old houce in a few years
rahaworth1 Says:

Mar 21, 2012 - Beautiful layout guys I hail from chandler az and im 22 and half my living room is an HO setup its a great healthy hobby and im very proud of my conducting so far im very envious of your track are you guys still an active club and do you accept people my age thanks
rahaworth1 Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - Thanks for the nice words. Yes, the club is still very active. The way the club is structured as part of the Recreation Center in Sun City (which provides the space for club activities), you have to live in Sun City to belong to the club. But they love visitors, so you can stop by any time (mornings are best)

Mar 24, 2012 - Very nice. Running so many trains is amazing. I find it tough to avoid collision with just three. :-)
manishkmr Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - Hi, I live in Gilbert. I certainly would like to come and see your amazing layout and the trains. What is the address? I searched for the recreation centers in the Sun City, and a bunch showed up in Google.
rahaworth1 Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - The club is located in the Rec Center at the NE corner of Peoria and 107th Ave. It is called the "Fairways" Rec Center if that helps.

Mar 28, 2012 - I love the layout, wish I could join the club but I'm all the way out in Colorado. :( Do you guys happen to know of any good train clubs out here in Colorado by chance? I am really wanting to join one. If you know of one give me a shout at anthonyashleymonroe@hotmail.com. Thanks :) and again great job on the layout.

Apr 2, 2012 - They have a display at the state fair.

Apr 3, 2012 - If the train scale speeds were just a tad slower, it would really add more realization to the well-manicured and detailed layout.
rahaworth1 Says:
Apr 4, 2012 - Thanks. I will be sure to ask them to do that when I video the next time.
rahaworth1 Says:
Apr 4, 2012 - Sorry but I don't have any info on Colorado clubs. You might try a Google search.

Apr 10, 2012 - nice layout, N scale and Ho?where in Sun City?
rahaworth1 Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - Thanks. It is an HO layout exclusively. It is located in the Fairways Recreation Center at the corner of 107th Ave and Peoria Ave in Sun City. Wednedsay mornings are best for visiting as the activitly there will decline with the exodus of our Snow Birds.

Apr 18, 2012 - I agree, what is not to like. The video is not offensive, the narrator does a good job, why would so many hit dislike??? If they don't like trains models and examples of excellent models shown, then they shouldn't visit the sites.
rahaworth1 Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - Helga. Thanks for the support. I guess almost anything can be improved and I always value constructive suggestions. I think I will get them to slow down the trains for my next video update of the layout.

Apr 29, 2012 - I'm part of or in the process of getting a jr membership at a club in scotsdale but it's so far away do you know what the minimum age is of a member and if non members can run on the tracks. Also where in sun city is it located
rahaworth1 Says:
Apr 30, 2012 - Unfortunately, membership is limited to residents of Sun City. This is just the way that the recreation centers are run. The layout is located on the NE corner of 107th and Peoria Ave in the southern part of Sun City. I don't know if you could run your trains on the layout. That you would have to ask them about.
