Feb 19, 2012 - He did in ep 1 I think, when he explained why he prefers eclipse to netbeans or intellij. For the record, I started trying to learn with netbeans but I hated it because the tutorials were all about how the picture looked and you never ever learnt any actual code. That's just my opinion tho :P

Apr 22, 2012 - My professor says applets are obsolete now. Because flash and HTML 5 have replaced it. Applets are have many quarks to them like when switching between tabs, it has to reupdate the information on the applet, and if you exit a browser window with the applet running, it may be still running if you didn't specify an exit command in the function.
