Feb 25, 2012 - hmm with the weight if u keep some weight on the front leg wont it hav more force behind it?

Feb 25, 2012 - Thanks Sifu Wong I will hard work, faith, and consistincy in to my training, once again Thank you.

IslamgermanyTube Says:

Feb 25, 2012 - it takes longer to kick, because you must switch your weight to the other leg, so all the weight on one leg is better, because wing tsun is fast and strong !

iunnosomeguy1 Says:

Feb 25, 2012 - yeah i could feel its faster while doing it but something doesnt feel right about my front leg. idk if im just not doing it right or if im just not use to the style. coz i was always taught to keep it bent and keep some weight in it incase some1 kicks the knee it wont hyperextend and break also it would put more power to ur strikes coz of ur weight being pushed foreward towards the person ur striking.

IslamgermanyTube Says:

Feb 26, 2012 - In Wing Tsun you must do all your weight into the back leg, because when you attack, then you have your weight back and its very hard to strike you down, :) and wong isnt a fully wing tsun master, he mix wing tsun and muay thai

Mar 21, 2012 - The first time I watched the first couple videos, I was like "WTF is this? I wanted to learn how to fight! I'ma skip to the end!" Then I was like, ".......alright......I'ma go back to the first videos.....damn."

KZLxDYI7VGxKZL Says:

Mar 30, 2012 - I'm not exactly well versed in Wing Chun... but here is my reasoning: If you put your weight in the front, your kick/punch/whatever might be more powerful, but it's similar to poke checking in Lacrosse, if you lunge at your opponent with your weight forward, they simply step to one side, and then you're on the ground.

Baxwannabe Says:

Mar 31, 2012 - Thank you Sifu Wong!

o0meanie0o Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - Escort it in, escort it out, when it's gone fire forward (with reference to the opponent's fist or foot). Wing Chun insists you not to lung towards an opponent but to counter and use their force against them. :)
