May 9, 2012 - "It is also impossible to prove/disprove the existence of fairies"That a strawman argument because they are know myths.Your using myth man made religion to disprove a possible creator.Science now says we may be able to create a bud universe from within our own.Would Atheists there deny their universe was created?"Atheists forming organisations does not make atheism a religion"If thats true then the same goes for Theists organizations, whats the difference? They are the same thing.

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 9, 2012 - "(there is no need for evidence to prove non-existence btw"So you admit that the reason for his video is based on his Non Belief in God.Do you think there is Extraterrestrial life?Since there is no evidence of it, do you reject it as non-existent or do you consider the possibility that it may exist? How about infinity, Dark matter, tachions, multiverse, or any of the other unproven hypothesis.Do you reject all of them offhand because of no complete proof?

Chris Donovan Says:

May 9, 2012 - We don't need "infinite" universes. We need one. This one to be exact. The idea of a multiverse is much more commonly used philosophically. It's an idea, like you said. It's not used in any science. What's more likely is if the conditions weren't "perfect", something else would have formed and we wouldn't be having this discussion. This configuration is very improbable, but it shares the same probability with any other. I do not assume anything like what you imply.

May 10, 2012 - 1:24 For a desert there often seems to be a bounty of water and trees with animals that you don't neccessarily see in those places.

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 10, 2012 - "The idea of a multiverse is much more commonly used philosophically"Well if you look its mainstream science now.If you look at the physics during the Big Bang the odds of our Universe turning out as is are very very small. This required an infinite number of universe in order to get the results.God is assumed false because of no proof so all the other hypothesis are also since non have any Scientific proof. Its boils down to what you Believe

Chris Donovan Says:

May 11, 2012 - I've tried to abstain from personal attacks, but that is ignorance at it's finest.

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 12, 2012 - Perhaps if you study some current Cosmology you will understand what I am saying.Watch this series of the current top scientists working on the problem.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7SDrj4TjvkThen maybe you will find how ignorant YOU are on the subject.

Chris Donovan Says:

May 12, 2012 - Entirely possible, yet quite unlikely.I tried using that URL, but it seemed dead.

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 12, 2012 - watch?v=Z7SDrj4TjvkYour right it does not work for some reason.Take the one above and past it in a yahoo search. It will come up Parallel Universe (1/5) videos on youtube.

Chris Donovan Says:

May 13, 2012 - Thanks very much. I'll take a look when I have time.

hiswords43 Says:

May 16, 2012 - do you fear god yet?

1987jjl Says:

May 16, 2012 - Atheism does not answer, try to answer, or even has anything to do with how the universe began. It just says that every attempted proof of a god or gods does not meet the standards required to be believed. The fact that there are organizations does not change the meaning of the word. Everyone's an atheist in some form or other. Refusing to believe that Zeus exists does not necessarily make you part of any religion, does it?

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 16, 2012 - "Atheism does not answer, try to answer, or even has anything to do with how the universe began"Ha Ha, it says God did not Create the Universe so that pretty much does try to answer how the Universe began. "proof of a god or gods does not meet the standards required to be believed."NO proof would convince an Atheist of God any more than proof would convince a Theist of No God.All evidence can be explained away.Zeus is a strawman argument because it know myth.

Thinker557 Says:

May 16, 2012 - Since matter and energy can't be created nor destroyed I guess my bodily material will just simply change forms but still exist for an eternity, but as for for spiritual terms I don't believe in an eternal spiritual afterlife nor in spirits.

ytcolton Says:

May 20, 2012 - A Atheist is someone who does not believe God.

ytcolton Says:

May 20, 2012 - Yes Atheism gives no answers, but no answer is better than a false one, like religion. (Not that you believe God... I dont know)

guayacan07 Says:

May 20, 2012 - Just cuz u have no answers doesn't mean the first stupid answer it is correct. People thought the Earth was flat and even killed others for challenging this theory. Open your eyes people !

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 20, 2012 - "A Atheist is someone who does not believe God."Thats the same as Believes in No God.

Dudemar0 Says:

May 26, 2012 - Saying that atheism is a religion is like saying 'not collecting stamps' is a hobby.Atheism means 'no religion' by definition.

markymarkbb Says:

May 27, 2012 - The website promotes atheism not that there is no god and to go out and say that. This country was not founded by christians, most of them were deists, meaning they had no understanding of things so they equated it towards god. All the website says is that it promotes free thought and not fall in to religious dogma, and want whats best for people's well being. AAI is no more religious than PETA or the NAACP.

scuzoid74 Says:

May 27, 2012 - *LMAO*

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 27, 2012 - "This country was not founded by christians, most of them were deists"I Agree. However modern day Atheists are trying to remove all forms of deism in favor of the Religion of Atheism. AAI is no more religious than PETA.Religion is defined as a Belief of how the Universe was created. The AAI Believes in No God, Thats a Religion. PETE or NAACP have no opinion on how the Universe came to be.Thats the difference.AAI is pushing their faith by legislation, emissaries & propaganda.Just as Theism

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 27, 2012 - "Saying that atheism is a religion is like saying 'not collecting stamps' is a hobby"NC= Non Stamp Collectors.Do NC make videos & write books about how Collectors are wrong?Do NC have a real term they use for collectors in their conversations?Do NC form international groups to discuss collectors.Do NC petition the Gov to remove collectors activities from the public venue?Do NC even identify himself as a NC to others or think about it?I could go on but you see the analogy is idiotic

Texmurphy51 Says:

May 27, 2012 - "A Atheist is someone who does not believe God."since there are only 2 choices.1 Believe in God2 Belief in No Godan Atheists Believes in No God
