May 6, 2012 - Both sunfish and creek chubs are excellent baits for catfish. Most fresh cut bait will work well, and sunfish or suckers are excellent (creek chubs are very good as well)

May 13, 2012 - What you can do is buy some scent at your local tackle shop and spray some scent on your frozen bait - that will definitely help :)

May 17, 2012 - @Big bear Me and some buddies went out and used bread and we fished for about an hour, and I caught my two first fish! One catfish was about 3lbs and the other was 4lbs! Allot of fun!

May 18, 2012 - We have never used hot dogs for bait, but many people have and say that they work.Chicken liver also works well and if you can use sunfish in your area, just catch a sunfish and cut it up for bait. Good luck on the water!
