Mar 31, 2012 - nicely put. we (farmers) work very long days, we gamble with the crops and weather, without any breaks from the government. we had hail come through this past season and destroy our corn and soy beans, we gotta make do with what happens. we combine 24 hours 30 hours sometimes to get the crop in before weather. without farmers this nation would collapse

Mar 31, 2012 - If you read this comment, do yourself a favor and just hover your mouse across the video length bar. (left to right and at whatever speed meets your viewing pleasure) You will save yourself time and you can Chaplin the hell out of this painfully long clip. Oh, and play this song in the background /watch?v=fJQCRRNVP7E&feature=related

Apr 8, 2012 - To the retards who think farming is a joy ride, there are farms for sale all over the world. Go buy yourself one and enjoy working "3 months of the year". Put your money where your mouth is.

Apr 16, 2012 - My dad use to buy crop insurance, is that still available? I remember in 1984-85 it was so wet, dad waited until the ground froze, because the combine would sink into the mud. That was when we had cold winters in Southern Illinois. Our family had farmed since the 1700's, but in 1986 dad said the hell with it, and let the bank have it. The ground auctioned off for $300 an acre, and most of the equipment went to South America. The ground is worth $8000 today.

May 5, 2012 - If you look closely it had a winch block on it. You wouldnt want to take the chance of breaking something else by giving hell after a event like that. These tractor only run $340,000+- new.

May 8, 2012 - Sometimes just gassing it and hoping it makes it out works.. Often looks really cool.. But often fails miserably resulting in damages/injuries.. lol
