Mar 15, 2012 - After seeing all the Jane Eyre films in existence, This one is still and always will be my favorite and I think is the best version to have been made.

Mar 19, 2012 - That family is utterly gruesome! Tara Fitzgerald has always been cast as a romantic leading lady - it is interesting to see her cast as the villianous rotten relative

mssonnet26 Says:

JenniferBarnes09 Says:

TheAkelei Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - Thanks for uploading - I will have a look at them (Ruth Wilson is great!) , but not before I will have finished the book from Charlotte Bronte. It's amazing that a book, written nearly 200 years ago, has meaning, now as before. PS: I think it wouldn't hurt to add Brontes details here, date of birth etc. Without her, the film wouldn't been made. See?

TheAkelei Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - What do you mean with Namia? it isn't meant in Ruth Wilson's filmography. Please "enlighten" me here, thanks.

TheAkelei Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - In the book, she says "keeping good health and not die"- They obviously mildered this for the film: "Keeping good health and not fall ill" (which is a quite clever answer ;-)

TheAkelei Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - The BBC know theier stuff, doesn't they? Sherlock / Cabin Pressure etc... Amazing. Other countries could learn from them.

TheAkelei Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - I am just reading the book and wll discipline myself not to spoil the end for me by looking the film episodes too fast. Ruth Wilson is great. But don't you think that they shortened the book too much? Jane wanted to go to school to escape their horrible relations and landed in a sort of asylum. And in the book she broke a slate, so she draw the attention of Mr. B. The whole awful drill in this institution is not shown here, I think....

KGRRRRR Says:

Apr 4, 2012 - Yes I have to agree.. they are just skipping the emotions for the Jane Eyre.. But I think this is because they didn't want to give this little actor too much job.. well.. I think it still rushes too much

MsSilentia Says:

Apr 7, 2012 - Timothy Dalton was more parody I think, more Rochester than Edward Rochester himself ;-)Toby Stephens is a much better actor. I have watched most of the screen adaptions and I think I would have liked Timothy Dalton on stage. On the screen, however, he just made me laugh. That is not a matter of complain. It is just fact that I believe in Toby Stephens' Rochester, every shot of him!

alfiesgirluk Says:

Apr 7, 2012 - The story of the Brontes is more dramatic than any of the books they wrote.

DanteandLady4ever Says:

Apr 18, 2012 - priest: what happens to children when they die?Jane: they go to heavenPriest: And what happens to disobedient, deceitful children?Jane: they come back to haunt yo ass and particularly red colored rooms

DestructionBattery Says:
