They would only be considered good by the standards we have set now. But with the base line theory these standards would know longer exist and the best people now would be considered evil then. So we would still be having this same conversation with a new base line

Feb 27, 2012 - I agree thats what matters but there is a problem with the way you are thinking about it. You are still judging good and evil by the standards that you know now. Yes, There would be a lot less actual harm coming to people by our standards of good and evil today. However, The other standard would still lend itself to the same good and evil predicament because that would be all we knew. Therefore, there would still be horrible evil and really good.

Though I consider myself well educated when it comes to using atheist arguements, I was stumped when the person I tried using this on came back at me wtih what I have been talking about. Thought I would share it because it does seem that it is a valid point.
