Sep 16, 2011 - I prefer this version of TMOAS above all others I have heard. Marti is so delicate in this song, yet in others from the piece she shows a flare for passion (check out 'Let's talk about you' from the original 1980 album she made) and sultriness ('Sheldon Bloom').I recommend hearing the album in it's entirety - it's well worth a listen.I just did a performance of this song cycle (known more popularly as a musical now) for my MA Vocal Studies. Favourite song? 'Nothing like you've ever known'.

Mar 7, 2011 - It's not a matter of her preventing other people from taking the spotlight. So she's more famous - she got there through her hard work. She's not putting a stoppage on anyone else releasing songs. Not only is that irrational to say, it's rude.
