Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. Mar 31, 2012 - "9 points to a movie that leaves me emotionally cold" ?

ewoski Says:

Apr 1, 2012 - They didn't say this was gonna be an E.T. spoiler.. THANKS

derajn Says:

Apr 2, 2012 - The point of the end of Inception is not to make you question if he is awake or asleep; it is to show that he doesn't care if he is awake or asleep as long as he is with his kids (hence him walking away from the top not waiting to see if it falls or not)

TelenStar Says:

Apr 2, 2012 - I would love to see a sequel to this film, but I know if it were to be made, it would completely ruin the ambiguity of the original's ending.

Apr 8, 2012 - fuck sake your talking about inception not another fucking movie!

blackopsportal123 Says:

Apr 9, 2012 - i think that he was just so tempted to see his kids

nyunyu57 Says:

Apr 11, 2012 - Yeah seriously. What an utterly pointless feature. Reading those captions is like reading an essay by a person with a traumatic brain injury who is trying desperately to make sense but is really just stringing random words together with no syntax. I'd say that's hardly very helpful to our hearing impaired friends.

JoshsAppleInfo Says:

Apr 12, 2012 - @derajn: the only reason he walked away from the top is because he was side tracked by his kids calling to him. But wouldn't he have seen the top still spinning later on?

legitbandit Says:

Apr 16, 2012 - they said he never saw his kids face.. how could he make them a reality in his dream...

ejayinc Says:

Apr 22, 2012 - Does no one remember that the top wasn't his?!

koooldude59 Says:

Apr 27, 2012 - he got distracted bro he's been asleep since the beginning i knew that before the review started

koooldude59 Says:

Apr 27, 2012 - think about it really hard has he been in a huge limbo the whole time?

rorrt Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - That is...unless all the scenes with Leonardo Di Caprio in, are all dreams...Thats how i read the film...There are loads of different interpretations...Maybe its only the dreams within the dreams where he wears the ring?I think ive just grown 2 hat sizes with my brain swelling,.

AroundSun Says:

May 2, 2012 - His wife probably is back in reality. If he just kills himself maybe he will see her in real reality? He was asleep for ten minutes perhaps and hasn't awoken yet? She is waiting for him. That would have been a better ending.

TheFreakinRican123 Says:

May 6, 2012 - That's the beauty of a Christopher Nolan movie. Inception is never clear about what's exactly reality, and the only person alive who knows the truth is Nolan, which will be a secret that he takes with him to his grave.

LordofDoom202 Says:

May 8, 2012 - That is inaccurate. His totem is the top. It once was his wife's but is his now. What you said about touching people's totems is a misinterpretation. Totem's are kept secret so no Architect can properly replicate them in a dream, meaning that they will only function properly in reality. It doesn't "lose what make's it special", it's just no longer a secret. Example: the opening sequence when Saito knows he is dreaming because the carpet is wrong. Not a totem, but that's how they work.

LordofDoom202 Says:

May 9, 2012 - Hawaiian Shirt Guy's 3 Clues:1) Michael Cain's line meant 'stop dreaming about your dead wife'.2) The man in the dream den doesn't say that. He says "Who are you to tell them otherwise?", which has nothing to do with who Cobb is as they do not know him.3) He didn't have 3.The thing about Ariadne being sent in after him is interesting but wrong. If she was she'd know how dreams worked and would not need to be taught. She'd also probably know more about Cobb going in from whoever sent her.

necroshadow93 Says:

May 10, 2012 - Its not secret, he said that Cobb didn't want to face what was gonna happen once he saw his kids faces, he just didn't care anymore because he was home, abandoning his "Totem" and staying there

iGoshiix Says:

May 11, 2012 - it would have been a more heart warming ending perhaps, not so much a 'better' ending. the reason the totem is left spinning at the end is to make you wonder whether it actually was a dream or not. which is the point of the film, to question reality.

killerbee04x Says:

May 21, 2012 - these guys are retards.

LordMalice6d9 Says:

May 21, 2012 - Please do everyone a favor and get off of Nolan's dick.

strkszone Says:

May 25, 2012 - No, his totem cannot be his ring! I've been tracking it, and when he lands in LA the top keeps spinning (signifying he's in a dream) However, there are scenes where he hands his passport to customs, and right before he spins the top where his left hand is shown WITHOUT the ring, implying he's in reality (if we accept the ring is his totem). As for the kid's faces being his totem, I'm unsure... However the theory that he was always in a dream is still plausible and there was no 'reality'
