May 12, 2011 - I usually put some bay leaves in my bag of Masa Harina to keep the bugs out of it. I have also made good polenta from Masa Harina. Maseca is also widely available and is a mixture of Masa Harina and dehydrated lard (manteca).

Aug 12, 2011 - This is the best video Ive found yet! Most videos were only showing me how to fry pre-made corn tortilla shells. This vid has shown me how to make them straight from scratch, as well as educate me on what Im eating! Thank you so much. :)

Oct 29, 2011 - You need to flip it a second time so it puffs up, then let them rest in a tortilla warmer for 10 min, otherwise they are brittle.

May 16, 2012 - Well done, Daniel Delaney. The last video I started watching was narrated by someone who pronounced the L's in 'tortilla.' As you can imagine, I immediately went back to my search and found yours! I now live in New Zealand; having moved from California where Mexican food is REAL and REALLY inexpensive (40 corn tortillas for $5) I was NOT about to pay $10 for 8 of them. I finally found a place in Wellington which sells the masa harina mix - $7 for 1 3/4 lbs -- not great, but doable! Fish tacos!
