"Fantasy" was a single by Earth, Wind & Fire from their album "All 'N All", released as a single in 1978. The song was written by Maurice White, Verdine White and Eddie del Barrio and it reached #32 and #12 on the pop and R&B singles charts in the United States. The single also received a Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Song. "Fantasy" took a period of three months to be written and was finally finished after Maurice White saw the film, "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind" and gained inspiration from the film.
