My favourite team is Manchester Utd, while my best pal's favourite team is Liverpool, yet we regularly compliment each other's star players and enjoy discussing the merits of each teams tactics in a friendly manner, usually over a pint or two!! Jan 9, 2012 - Damn, tough situation for the referee. The rules say that any contact by a player with a spectator is an automatic red card, but the guy ATTACKED the player!!! Maybe the ref thought he could have pushed him away and then let security grab the hooligan. I'm not sure. Either way, I can't argue with the keeper's coach in having his team walk off the field . . .
