Sep 18, 2011 - It's called contrast. His voice is low and a bit gravelly, while hers is higher and clear. Plus, her lyrics help us see his side: she's manipulative and only out for what she can get. (She denies this most of the song, but admits it at the end.) Another option is that by using a guest artist, Cold is broadening their audience. Fans of Swan will listen to this one to and discover other Cold songs and vice versa. Win-win for everyone. All of that aside, I like her voice.
