Klappfall Says:

Apr 24, 2012 - Very great job from the Pilot

Machil77 Says:

Apr 24, 2012 - It was not a question, rather a comment cause of not noticing the full afterburner on the jet when the tailhook grabbed the cable.. Full afterburner will light-up even daylight!!!

E34AIRBORNE Says:

Apr 24, 2012 - the guy in the yellow shirt used to do a lot of jump rope back in the day when he was a kid. He must have been a pro!!

h31212 Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - The US army should invest in some shins for all crew members on upper deck.

zerohourrct Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - Navy? Also, heavy cable snapback carries enough energy to take your legs clean off, shins won't do you much.

h31212 Says:

Apr 27, 2012 - No way Sherlock I really didn't thought about it. The US Navy is part of the US army.

zerohourrct Says:

Apr 28, 2012 - No, they're both part of the DOD.

GamerTherapy Says:

May 1, 2012 - Are you stupid?Army = Land projection ForceNavy = Sea projection Force

h31212 Says:

May 2, 2012 - Whathever. The're both part of the DOD.

hunterx11 Says:

May 2, 2012 - And even if it were a magical superplane with 100G acceleration that could bolter after hitting the cable, that kind of acceleration would be just as deadly as crashing.

SIRSMITH08 Says:

May 2, 2012 - damn they didnt show that on topgun !!

BabyMakR Says:

May 2, 2012 - really? Firstly he was on full afterburn. Second are you suggesting that he could get the plane from 30knots to 120 in the 30 ft he had left on the deck? What universe do you live in?

confucheese Says:

May 14, 2012 - Lol Americans are so unaware of their surroundings. That green jacket got his legs ripped clean off.

TheFsdd Says:

May 16, 2012 - oh dude those cables could cut off the leg and he is very lucky to survive that

coastel Says:

May 18, 2012 - crazy shit lucky no one was fucked up

SBrandon562 Says:

May 18, 2012 - "training, saves the pilot" bullshit, they're supposed to keep the Aircraft at full throttle until it comes to a complete stop, THEN shut the turbines down. IF the pilot would've done so his plane would still be in action today. IDK, I MAY be wrong, but from what I heard,,,,,PILOT ERROR. Reguardless of whether or not the cable snapped. But, like I said...I may be wrong.

micwoo8755 Says:

May 18, 2012 - He did throttle up. When he trapped, the cable slowed him down enough right before it broke that the plane had already lost its momentum. Some people just don't have sense.

THEDUCK201 Says:

May 19, 2012 - he was throttling up but the cable broke very late into the landing cuasing the plane to lose all momentum and drop of the edge. Without the cable the plane would of been fine, but the cable slowed but didnt stop the plane

VladimirG1986 Says:

May 19, 2012 - @SB, STFU you bitch!!!! It's pilots fault you fucking cock sucker.

VladimirG1986 Says:

May 19, 2012 - It's not pilots fault*****

Hitlerkila7 Says:

May 20, 2012 - I told them not to buy cables from china. They didn't listen.

bru5520 Says:

May 23, 2012 - It was nobody's fault in this case,pointing the pilot,etc...is total ignorance,clearly

logan muller Says:

May 23, 2012 - 0:52 is some ninja shit right there

Randomnick123 Says:

May 25, 2012 - That deckcrew member with yellow jacket has been drinking some cobra blood on breakfast... Jeesh..
