May 6, 2012 - Many HAVE looked it up and laughed at the claims :-) Firstly, the moon scenes in 2001: A Space Odyssey look nothing like the Apollo moon scenes, where he makes numerous mistakes (even gets the lunar landscape wrong!) and doesn't even attempt to recreate 1/6th gravity. Secondly, no sci-fi film ever made has managed to recreate 1/6th gravity to the standard seen in Apollo footage using wires and slow-mo as claimed. How could Nasa/Kubrick do what the best special effects experts can't do today.

kaderoder Says:

May 7, 2012 - Doesnt the moon just reflect the laser light, just like it reflects the suns light?

Henchmann21 Says:

May 7, 2012 - so are you off the camp who think there is no reflectors on the moon? Can I ask you if you fired a laser at irregular surface would you expect it to be reflected straight back at you so you can get a very precise and accurate measurement? If the answer is no. Then why do you think the same would happen when firing a laser at the moon when it has an irregular surface composed of different materials of consistency, shapes & sizes ?

kaderoder Says:

May 7, 2012 - Just saying the moon reflects visible light.

Henchmann21 Says:

May 7, 2012 - Yes and generally virtually every object and surface reflectors sun light/ or any light to vary degrees thus how we see objects and colours. So whats your point ?

Henchmann21 Says:

May 7, 2012 - *reflects

kaderoder Says:

May 7, 2012 - Relax bitch.

Henchmann21 Says:

May 7, 2012 - So basically you had no point ?

kaderoder Says:

May 7, 2012 - What are you, the comment police? Go fuck yourself in the corner. no one cares about your mental issues.

Henchmann21 Says:

May 7, 2012 - So you swear and get abusive at someone, who asks you some simple questions and you think they have mental issues.Nice hypocrisy

kaderoder Says:

May 7, 2012 - No, you're looking for an argument, so im telling you to piss off. Piss off.

Henchmann21 Says:

May 7, 2012 - That happens to be your opinion and it happens to be incorrect. You were not very clear in your original comment so I asked a few questions which you have responded with abuse. Funny I don't seem to said anything abusive at you just wanting to know what your point was, since you have yet to make it clear ?

kaderoder Says:

May 7, 2012 - I asked a question and you asked three in return, without giving me an answer, that makes you an asshole. Is that clear enough for you?

Henchmann21 Says:

May 7, 2012 - Once again thats your opinion. Its looks like we're going to get no where with this.

TheTvrulesthenation Says:

May 10, 2012 - Hehehe....Brian just ''coxlapped'' a bunch of idiots :P

lovebooboo1 Says:

theapplecake283 Says:

May 15, 2012 - you know the script i wrote, did you read itno

MilitantBlackGuy1 Says:

May 18, 2012 - The dude asked a question which you could have helped him to understand without just being an asshole. So yeah, you're an asshole.

Henchmann21 Says:

May 18, 2012 - So you never ever heard of counter questioning I take it.

MilitantBlackGuy1 Says:

May 18, 2012 - Yeah, I've also heard of grammar, crawl back into your hole.

TheVerandaguy Says:

May 18, 2012 - Strictly speaking — and I'm not an expert in the field — doesn't placing a mirror on the moon require that said mirror be some distance from the lander? I mean, if it's a manned, returning lander, dust and other particles kicked up by the rocket would obscure, if not damage the mirror. If a lander, which later returned, had been unmanned, how would've it placed the mirrors far enough from the launch site?

Henchmann21 Says:

May 19, 2012 - The Russians manage to put two there be unmanned means, but they were two smallests and attached to the back of permanent probes which stayed on the moon. One of which in fact became "lost" for 30 years due to I think dust covering it mirrors. The Americans did quite far ranging EVA's from their landers and could deploy a reflector a site which wouldn't be affected by the lander blaster off.

Henchmann21 Says:

May 19, 2012 - :)
