That's Honda's best car and the 350Z is not Nissan's best car, the GTR is, which would have beaten all those cars with ease. The S2000 would've been a more suitable competitor for the 350Z. The 350Z would've beat it though :)

Idk enough about the GT2 to know if it can beat the GTR at the track, but I know for a fact that the GT2 will get dusted by the GTR at the drag strip, specially by the new 2013 with 11.0s 1/4 mile. But anyways my point was they should've at least thrown in the faster 370Z to compete in this race not a 350Z

Apr 16, 2012 - GT2 RS laptime around the nurburgring is 7:18. The fastest laptime for a GTR @ the nurburgring is 7:24.22. Considering the GT2 RS is not a AWD, has a manual gearbox, and RWD format, I'd say it beats GTR quite easily with outdated engineering. 6 sec is pretty huge gap. As far as drag race is concerned you're right the GT2 RS would get dusted but not the OLDER Porsche Turbo S which is AWD and has similar p/w ratio as the 2013 GTR. Keep in mind new 991 turbo is coming out soon.

May 22, 2012 - What they showed is that the Z is a great track car, and yes for a 100k less than a GT3 a lot of people would take it. Add 50 more horse power and it would be a problem for any car.
